Hi, this email list has grown quite a bit over the last two weeks, and if this is your first newsletter from me, a big welcome!
Today, I want to share a personal update.
Secret project: Today
Earlier this year, I quit my job and built Crafters.
Since working for myself, productivity has been so important. So I’ve tried so many tools and built a system to manage my day. But I’m struggling with the existing tools. I ended up with a Frankenstein setup with so many tools.
I want a simple tool: When I want to think, I can jot things down and turn that into action. When I plan, I can block my calendar to ensure I have time to execute. And when I want to execute, I want to eliminate distractions and focus on one thing at a time.
So we decided to build a new tool. We call it Today. Our mission is to make time-wasting harder and progress-making easier.
If you’re interested in the idea, you can join the waitlist to get some updates.
Ramen profitability
Recently I learned this concept called building in public.
A lot of indie makers share their progress and learnings frequently. I like this idea of sharing because it aligns with my value. So, I want to share my next goal: achieving ramen profitability—basically, I can make enough money to support my living cost and get profit on top of it.
My aim is $5K per month!
Thankfully, Crafters has been doing pretty okay. The latest product discovery workshop is sold out :) I’m super excited to kick this off. You can register for the next cohort, by the way.
Our community is still small. I intentionally want to keep it exclusive because I want a community filled with motivated people. But I need to think about how to grow the members.
So I plan to host smaller webinars with a few people I know would be amazing to share their knowledge. I’ll share more once it takes shape!

P.S. I really like the book called Eat the Frog. If you’re into productivity, you should read it! Basically, eat that frog first in the morning!
