Since I’m no longer actively practice design. I want to use this newsletter as a way to connect with you and talk more about life. I mean, life is so much more than only design and product, right?
August was nice, we celebrated my wife’s birthday and I made her pins. Of course, I had to made the tulip one because it means deep love and rebirth! A perfect symbol for the occasion.
Small Business called RAWRRR
I’ve been working on a business called RAWRRR with my wife. We sell raw food and broth for cats. It’s been an amazing ride so far because our customers keep sending photos of their CUTEEE cat! I CANNOT RESIST! Unlike software design, this business requires a real physical space, and we turned our living room into shipping station, which is crazy.
I also like to doodle on the box whenever we ship our orders. I can handle it since we’re still a small business. BUTTT, as our order grows, I’m not sure if I can do this. But hey! Do things that don’t scale while you’re small :)
One Learning
Since October last year, I’ve been trying to get into art. But it’s insanely hard. I keep trying to find my style, but it’s really hard. Honestly, it was stressful. I feel kinda SICK when I see my art supplies and canvas in my studio.
I didn’t know that art could exposes my insecurity because putting my art out there is scary. The GOOD news is… I took a break, and starting last week, I’ve been enjoying painting again. This painting is such a mess, but I really enjoy the process. I didn’t overthink it.
Streaming game
OK, so that’s about my August. HOW ARE YOU?! Can you guys tell me what’s going on with the tech industry? Or maybe what game have you been playing?
I’ve been playing game again every night. I really LOVE the idea of being a casual streamer. I just need to find courage to start it. I’d love to try playing Pokemon or something like Dota 2. I’m on discord.
